Jason Stoltenkamp

 

Jason Stoltenkamp is the Head Coach at CWTC and one of very few coaches in South Africa to succesfully complete the SATA-ITF-Professional (Pro) syllabus coaches courses. His strength as a coach is definitely his technical expertise which is equalled by very few coaches in South Africa.

Jason has an amazing ability to relate to young aspiring tennis professionals and he coaches some of the top junior tennis players in South Africa. Prior to coaching, Jason had a very successful career as a junior tennis player where he was ranked no. 2 in South Africa from under 14 through to under 18. He was also ranked in the top 100 in the world as a junior and competed at the US Open, Wimbledon & The Orange Bowl. As a junior he boasts victories over several of the games top names including Tommy Haas and Nicolas Kiefer. 

Life Philosophy:

In order to achieve your life goals you have to persevere, be committed and nothing is achieved without hard work. Above all there needs to be a passion for what you do.

Pieter Calitz
Pieter Calitz


Pieter Calitz is one of the fittest men on the planet! Pieter obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fitness Management from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 1997. Pieter was selected to represent South Africa at the All Africa Games in Algeria in 2007, and is currently still a Top 10 ranked player in South Africa. He has traveled the world over as a professional tennis player on the ATP Tour and has devoted the past 7 years of his life to coaching juniors both locally and abroad. He is a tremendous inspiration and role model to all juniors who want to make it in the game of tennis.

Life Philosophy:
A player must really love the game to be the best they can be. To be really good, a player needs to be really fit, and this is fitter than most players think! Two of the key characteristics necessary to making it are Perseverance and Patience. 

Benjamin Janse van Rensburg

 

Benjamin Janse Van Rensburg, or B.J. as he is known to students was ranked No. 1 in South Africa (U18) and also achieved an international ranking of 150 as a junior. He has also represented South Africa twice in the Africa Cup (2006 & 2008) and currently still holds a top 10 ranking in South Africa (Opens).  

Having spent 2 years in Europe competing in ATP events B.J. brings a wealth of knowledge to local juniors.  B.J. has previously coached at the Sutton Tennis Academy in the U.K. as well as the High Performance Centre in Pretoria, whereafter he teamed up with South Africa’s current Davis Cup Captain, John Laffnie de Jager to coach some of the top juniors in South Africa.  

B.J. also fulfills the role of travelling coach at CWTC accompanying juniors to local and international tournaments. He has had tremendous success on the road with the juniors …

Justin Visser

 

Justin started playing tennis at the age of 8 …and has been committed to the game ever since. As a junior he was ranked in the top 5 under 16 and also competed in the Open seniors where he achieved a top ranking of 13 in South Africa.   

Following this he competed in several pro tennis tournaments in California and also coached at a tennis academy in Philadelphia for 6 months.  This experience provided him with a good understanding of the U.S. approach to the game.  Thereafter, Justin competed in several tournaments all over the world, playing on the pro circuit in Brazil, Bolivia and also touring in West Africa (Nigeria, Rwanda and Ghana). This earned him several ATP points in singles and doubles.

“Even when I am not on the court coaching, I love to practice, play and compete!”  

Before joining CWTC in 2009, Justin worked as a coach at the High Performance Tennis Academy in Pretoria for 2 years.  However, he enjoys working at CWTC because of the high quality of training and good players.  It is also great to see the upcoming players focused on all aspects in the game. 

“I am a firm believer in being mentally tough and to become really good you have to want it real bad!”

 
Colbert Ndlovu

Colbert Ndlovu played most of his junior tennis living in Zimbabwe graduating with a top 10 junior ranking.

He has headed up the CWTC school development program in Kilarney for the past 3 years. Colbert also  works with beginners and advanced players at Kilarney Country Club where he conducts private and group lessons. He has worked with some of the top ranked junior tennis players in South Africa and internationally.

Life Philosophy:
Fear God, work hard and be disciplined to achieve your maximum potential as a sportsman. 

Emmanuel Ndlovu

 

Emmanuel has been coaching for the past 10 years and was also a top junior tennis player.

He coached in several schools in Zimbabwe and South Africa which includes Ermelo and Mpumalanga.

Emmanuel holds an ITF level one certificate and a South African instructors level certificate. He currently heads CWTC development program in Kilarney prep.

 

Hanco Mostert

Hanco has been involved with the game of tennis from the young age of 7. He has achieved success at club level, school level and has also represented Southern Transvaal (Gauteng) before a serious injury cut short his professional aspirations as a player.

Hanco's passion for the game of tennis remained undiminished and he turned his focus to coaching. His love for the game is stronger than ever and after running his own tennis academy successfully for 3 years he decided to team up with Charles Wheeler Tennis Academy for the opportunity to train some of the top juniors in South Africa.

Hanco is committed to passing on his experience to junior tennis players in order to equip them for the professional circuit. He is an accredited TCSA coach.
